Project Brief

Barbra Baskin has worked as a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) for six years. While working with multiple companies in the Northern VA area specializing in autism therapy; Ms. Baskin has decided to open her own business.

 

Her first goal is to publicize her new business with an online webpage. However, there is some difficulty in getting the job done. We meet and discuss her current webpage and what outcomes she would like to see.

My current webpage is a poorly designed and incomplete project. This creates a negative brand image for myself, leaving me at a competitive disadvantage. I'm afraid I'm missing vital opportunities for my business to grow.

Create a new web page showcasing provided services, establish brand recognition, and improve communication between clients.

Stakeholders Meeting

It's crucial to establish a "meeting of the minds" before embarking on a redesign project such as this. Gathering a clear project understanding can help identify key insights each party poses. We incorporated meeting dates and timelines to connect with each other, either virtually or in-person, which will insure we mitigate risk as they arise.

Exploratory Research

Current Webpage - Content Auditing

During this stage we conducted a comprehensive audit of all existing content on the website. This involved listing every page, blog post, image, video, or other content elements.  Afterwards we evaluated each piece of content, identifying what content is performing well, what needs updating, and what can be removed entirely. 

 

The website's current SEO performance is non-existing. There is no correlation between media posted on the webpage and the business’ goals or over-all function. Outlined outlined below are the apparent changes that must be addressed.
